Privacy Policy

Quartz Sequoia Events Ltd (QSE) is a UK-based media company specialising in business-to-business events and publications. If you are an exhibitor at one of our events and would like advice on how to collect and manage data collected at our events please see the Association of Event Organiser's FaceTime guide for further information.

Quartz Sequoia Events' data privacy policy:

  • We do not provide or sell your personal details to third parties unless you have specifically requested that we do so, in order that advertisers and/or third parties can offer you information, goods and services that may be of interest to you.
  • We reserve the right to disclose information about demographics to advertisers, but in anonymous aggregate form only. Quartz Sequoia Events will not reveal your personal identity in connection with the disclosure of such information.
  • Quartz Sequoia Events may contact customers by email with electronic newsletters, or as part of one of our promotions. The newsletters are sent out to the email address you have supplied. All our email correspondence includes an unsubscribe option.
  • We collect information on our customers through registration, subscription or via list collection. Registration data collected will include details about your company and the products and/or services you provide. We may also ask some further, voluntary questions so we can gain a clearer understanding of our customers. Your responses help us to provide you with relevant information in our publications, as well as to sell appropriate advertising space. We do not share this "additional" information with third parties unless you have consented to this.

This information is stored by our data processors and us. We may employ external companies to act on our behalf as data processors for internal business purposes. Data processors will abide by the Privacy Policy detailed here and will not disclose personal details to any other organisations or use data other than for purposes required by us.

We reserve the right to access and disclose individually identifiable information to comply with applicable laws and lawful government requests, to operate our systems properly and to protect our customers and ourselves. We are not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of publications other than our own that may be mentioned.

Visitors attending our events

If you are visiting one of our events and are given a badge with a barcode or contactless technology, you will be notified at the point of registration. Please understand that by choosing to allow your badge to be scanned by an exhibitor, sponsor or speaker when at the event, you will be providing the exhibitor, sponsor or speaker with your personal data. Please be aware that the person scanning your badge may transfer this data outside of the European Economic Area and that we can not be responsible for the way they use of manage this data.
