Mark has led the development of swimming and sport at Places Leisure since 2014 and has 35 years of experience in the industry.
Places Leisure, as part of Places for People, is one of the UK's leading social enterprises, welcoming over a million to around 100 health and wellbeing facilities across the nation annually.
Mark represents Places Leisure on the All Party Parliamentary Group for Swimming (APPG), The Swimming Alliance (as sub-group lead for lobbying), as a Trustee for Level Water and, as a volunteer, is the Chairman of the Waterside Community Trust, a charity running a community swimming facility and the provision of beach lifeguarding across the Isle of Wight.
