Ash joined Sport England in March 2023 as the Workforce Development Manager. With over 10 years of experience working across a variety of paid and voluntary roles in sport, he developed a passion for supporting others to find their own career pathway in the sector. His current role has a large focus on diversifying the sport & physical activity workforce through the power of collaboration, co-production, and shared learning.
Prior to joining the Workforce Transformation team at Sport England, Ash spent over 6 years leading a workforce development programme in the Higher Education sector at Queen Mary University of London. He received the Enhancing the Workforce Award at the London Sport Awards 2023 in recognition of the programme's impact.
