Research interests: Functional Movement Screening (FMS™), human movement analysis, biomechanical assessment, chronic and acute pain conditions and how these affect quality of life, performance and injury Paul is currently leading the movement pillar at the Human Performance Lab which focuses on human movement analysis and biomechanical assessment to enhance quality of life and performance. He has previously worked as a lecturer on the Kinesiology and Biomechanics module at Waterford Institute of Technology and at Dundalk Institute of Technology on the Health and Physical Activity Degree Programme. Paul also has over six years experience of providing sports science support to international/professional teams and elite athletes. Paul is also in the final year of a PhD study which focuses on the development and validation of innovative motion capture technology to enhance movement analysis in an applied and clinical setting.
