Sally is a World Record holding ocean rower, former endurance athlete and adventurer. She qualified as a Personal Trainer in 2009. A career highlight included the opportunity to work with athletes during the London 2012 Olympics as a member of the Technogym team. She has been a much sought after Inspirational Speaker, and her autobiography, Sally’s Odd at Sea, was published in 2007.
In 2019, she co-founded the Active Pregnancy Foundation and is now their CEO. The charity aims to change the culture of fear and uncertainty many women experience when approaching activity and exercise during pregnancy. The Foundation also intends to challenge policy, especially within the health and fitness industry, where women often feel unwelcome and unsupported due to a lack of expertise and facilities. Finally, the Foundation will offer women up-to-date advice & guidance on how to stay active throughout pregnancy and beyond.
