Helen joined British Rowing January 2016 in the newly created role of Director of Innovation. She is leading on a series of new projects and initiatives aimed at broadening the appeal of the sport and supporting its long term sustainability. These include data management and technology projects, new event formats and ‘Go Row Indoor’, British Rowing’s new health & fitness industry focussed indoor rowing programme. Prior to joining British Rowing Helen was Director of Consulting at CSM Strategic, the consulting team at Chime Sports Marketing and led their Major Sporting Projects work with a focus on strategic planning, innovation and organisational transformation. Clients included the Commonwealth Games Federation, International Paralympic Committee, as well as multiple National Olympic Committees, cities and Sports Federations.
