Dr James Baldock
Dr James Baldock is a Sport and Exercise Medicine Registrar at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford. He graduated from the University of Leicester in 2010 and completed General Practice training in Milton Keynes in 2015. After one year as a GP he entered higher specialist training in Sport and Exercise Medicine in Oxford, whilst also completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Sport and Exercise Medicine. He is currently the trainee representative on the Sport and Exercise Medicine Specialist Advisory Committee, the Academy Doctor at Milton Keynes Dons FC and is a Development Squad Doctor with the Football Association. He has been a Public Health England Physical Activity Champion since 2016.
James was involved in the development of the Inflammatory Rheumatic Disease Moving Medicine resource and later led the development of the MSK Pain module. He is a member of the Oxford University Hospitals Active Hospitals team, working to develop physical activity pathways for lower limb amputees.
