There is compelling evidence that strength training is a key component for overall health, with the CMO highlighting its importance in recent updates to physical activity guidelines. This session will go beyond the role of physical activity for muscle strength, exploring what health and fitness professionals need to know about nutrition for improved muscle strength, and how to apply this knowledge to optimise interventions.
