Reaching the inactive: Sport England’s local delivery pilots

Thursday 10th May - 12:05-12:45

Every town, city and rural area across the country is unique, with special characteristics that have a direct influence on the opportunities to be physically active in that area.

It’s important that we’re mindful of these unique traits when designing physical activity offerings – providing services that take into account the local conditions and demographics, and that draw on local knowledge – because in doing so, physical activity starts to become an easier, more attractive choice.

This session will explore Sport England’s Local Delivery Pilots – providing an insight into what people need and want in their local communities, and how to provide innovative, scalable opportunities for the inactive.
