Hydration and performance

Hydration is fundamental to both physical and mental performance.

This session will explore the importance of hydration, as well as the consequences of dehydration. It will highlight hydration trends among university athletes; look at how hydration status can be monitored; and offer examples of interventions that can help athletes stay hydrated on a day-to-day basis.
