Dr Tom Little is a performance and nutrition specialist with over twenty years experience in professional sport and fitness. He has worked primarily at football clubs in the Premier League and Championship, including Manchester City, Burnley, Leeds Utd, Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday. A finalist for the the ‘Fabrice Muamba Award for Outstanding Services to Football Medicine and Science’, he has consulted to the English and New Zealand FA, Nike and combat, tennis and rugby sport athletes, in addition to a wide spectrum amateur athletes. Tom has a BSc, MSc & PhD in Sports Science and Nutrition, published several peer-reviewed papers and is a regular speaker at conferences. He is a registered sport and exercise nutritionist (SENr) and an accredited strength and conditioning coach (ASCS).
Tom founded the Colour-Fit in 2016 and merged with wellbeing company hero in 2018 to rebrand as heroPro, to provide a brand leading nutritional app. Customers have included Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester Utd, Arsenal, WRU and Lion’s Rugby, Melbourne Demons, Saracens and British Judo. Tom is currently Head of Performance at Preston North End and a director at hero wellbeing. His book 'The Colour-Fit Methodology' is due to for release late June 2022.
