Mark Glaister

Reader in Exercise Physiology

Faculty of Sport, Health, and Applied Sciences, St Mary’s University

Mark is a Reader in Exercise Physiology at St Mary's University and a Fellow of The American College of Sports Medicine. Mark studied for his PhD at The University of Edinburgh specialising in physiological responses to multiple sprint work typical of that experienced in field and court sports. More recently, Mark has been researching the effects of caffeine on exercise physiology and performance. Mark has over 50 peer reviewed publications and has collaborated with researchers from several national and international institutions.
