Fight for Peace has spent over 20 years working to inspire people to reach their full potential and promoting peace in our communities. They believe that for any young person to thrive, they need access to opportunities, support and a safe environment. Many young people in the areas they work in don’t have any of these but they are fighting for change. Fight for Peace uses the power of sport and physical activity such as boxing and martial arts training to drive change, helping people to become champions in life as well as in the ring.

Fight for Peace are youth-led. This means that young people play a central role in defining their approach and in influencing organisational decision making and strategic direction. This session will give you the chance to hear from a cohort of young people based at Fight for Peace’s London Academy, sharing their insights into the sport and physical activities programmes, what happens beyond sport, and how their involvement with the organisation has influenced their personal development and outcomes.
