NWG Network

Stand M69

Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults is everyone’s responsibility and this also applies in the world of sport.

The NWG Network is a charitable organisation formed as a UK network of over 14,500 practitioners who disseminate our information down through their services, to professionals working on the issue of child exploitation (CE) and trafficking within the UK.

Our Sport England funded work has been designed specifically for the sports sector to help raise awareness of how abuse can occur through sport. Our campaign efforts are aimed at parents, coaches and children in order to help them understand what to look out for and how to respond to concerns. If you instruct/coach, run a club/sport delivery organisation or volunteer in one please visit our stand and speak to Kev Murphy about how our work can benefit your workforce and your organisation’s members.

At the NWG Network we also host the “Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts” scheme – if you work in Martial Arts please visit our stand and speak to Jo Aldridge about how this free accreditation can benefit your club/ organisation.

Please join us and help to raise awareness of exploitation in Sport by adopting our campaigns – together we can raise awareness and deter the exploitation of children.
