Exploring alternative conditioning methods: off feet conditioning for on feet performance

There is a growing trend in team sports to look for alternative conditioning methods for athletes. One route is off feet conditioning which provides a range of benefits including greater control of training load, reduced risk of injury and fatigue following training and assistance with the return to training from injury.
Off feet conditioning can include a number of different training methods using swimming pools, fitness equipment and other tools. This session will explore the latest research and evidence for this alternative conditioning model, sharing successful implementation strategies and experiences from a range of elite sports, demonstrating improved performance in practice.
