Everybody active everyday: the role of the health professional

One of the corner stones to helping the population into every day activity – are the professionals who can influence us during those pivotal “touchstone” moments. Public Health England are committed to working with healthcare staff, as trusted and influential professional who can convey the many merits of physical activity - helping the public to achieve the CMOs recommended physical activity levels optimising their health and wellbeing. This session will explore the core components of the Moving Health Professionals programme and the progress to date, and introducing the Moving Medicine programme exploring its remit and intentions with an introduction to the tools and resources.
