Ralph Smith is a consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford. He obtained a Master of science in Sport Medicine, Exercise and Health from University College London in 2011 and went onto complete his General Practice training in Reading. In 2014, he entered the specialist training programme. He has a range of experience in musculoskeletal medicine, elite sport, population health and exercise medicine.He has been extensively involved in the formation of the UKs Chief Medical officers commissioned infographic entitled 'Physical Activity for Pregnant Women' from the initial scoping reviews to the final design. The infographic aims to provide clarity and consistency to equip Health Professionals to deliver evidence-based recommendations to enhance antenatal care.
