Ally Zell is the Aquatic Business Manager for Freedom Leisure. Ally moved to Freedom Leisure in November 2014 following a number of aquatic roles, including 5 years as Regional Swimming Manager for Leisure Connection. She has over 30 years of experience in the leisure industry working for a range of different employers including Local Authority, Leisure Management Trusts, and private learn to swim organisations. Ally has accumulated a wide base of knowledge having become involved with Beach lifeguarding as a teenager in her home town of Bournemouth, followed by a career in leisure moving up through the ranks with experience in operations, swimming teaching, lifeguard training and pool programming. She has a passion for ensuring everyone has both the opportunity to learn to swim and make aquatic activities part of their healthy lifestyle. Ally now leads on Swimming for Freedom Leisure over the 44 pools within the group.
